BBC Big Screens

AV3 was asked by photo company FotoNow, to join them on a UK Tour of the BBC Big Screens.

The work involved touring the UK, and setting up a mobile photographic studio and mobile VJ suite at each of the BBC Big screens. The tour took us to Plymouth, Bristol and Swindon.


THE Brief

AV3 were brought in to provide the mobile VJ Suite, which we provided from the back of our very own camper van. Shoppers on their shopping trips were invited to come and have a free portrait taken inside the geodesic dome, and then within a few minutes, AV3 were able to VJ these images up to create a live montage of imagery from the day. Music was provided by various youthclubs around the country, and the final VJed mix was sent to the big screen for viewing by the public.

AV3's 2013.

2013 has been a busy one for AV3 it started with 2 Projection Mapping Jobs, a live holgraphic vj set at the Kinetica Art Fair, VJing for Nokia in Barcelona, the Southport Weekender, the last Run To The Sun, Glastonbury, Beat Herder, Camp Bestival, Dour Festival (BG), Day at the Park (NL), Sziget Festival (HGY) and Mission Dance Weekend (ROM) touring with Booka Shade, South West Four, Relentless Live and many more private parties and events. Then to top it all off, more mapping for a Channel 4 short film, and an Advert for Jaguar!

AV3 VJ at the MWC in Barcelona For Nokia.

AV3 was asked to produce some specially branded visuals and VJ live for Nokia's trade stand at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The live VJ set was used as the backdrop to Nokia's "Happy Hour" and the visuals were themed towards the new Windows Mobile platform. See a short film here.

AV3 was asked by international film, tv and ad company Smuggler to provide video systems and projection for Jaguars latest advert. The #GoodToBeBad campaign, and was broadcast during the coveted SuperBowl Ad slot. The final advert can be seen here.
