How to projection map a building
The first thing you need to do, if you want to make this work well, is choose a good structure!
As with all projections, they work best when you dont have any other lights around. So checking whether street lights or security lights might turn on, will make the difference to whether this can work.
Also remember, if its outside, the sun needs to have gone down quite a way before your projections will show up.
Power and projector placement, should be the next concern. The bigger the projection, the more power you will need, and probably a larger area to project from!
AV3 will walk you through the whole process, and
help you create what you would like to see.
